Download Internet Helpers

You may need one or more of the "helper" programs listed below to fully utilize this page. Some of the class handouts are "pdf" files which require Adobe Acrobat (or something similar) for viewing or printing. Typically, "pdf" files will be problem solutions or anything that contains hand written information. (Some assignment question documents remain in "pdf" format as well.) Other handouts and transparancies are word processor documents (typically saved as "doc" files) or spreadsheet documents (typically saved as "xls" files). You can use MS Word Viewer or MS Excel Viewer to view or print these files. There are also a few sections of the page that require a sound player for use. None of them are critical. For those sections, you can download the appropriate sound application below. If you have problems or questions about using these helpers, please feel free to contact me by e-mail or by phone.

	To view or print "pdf" files, you may download Adobe Acrobat here.
	To view or print "rtf" or "doc" files, download MS Word Viewer here for Windows or Windows95 platforms. Macintosh users should be able to specify their favorite word processor as a "helper" in their browser.
	To view Microsoft Excel files download the MS Excel Viewer for Windows or Windows 95 platforms. Macintosh users can specify Excel as a "helper" in their favorite browser.
	To view Microsoft PowerPoint files download this MS PowerPoint Viewer.
	To listen to recordings, download one or more of the sound helpers on this page.
