Section Leader - Business 101
The College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is hiring Section Leaders for Business 101. The position reports to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs.
The primary function of the Section Leader is to assist the Business 101 Faculty with the design and implementation of the course.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Discussion and Interaction.
- Ensure BUS 101 students in the section fulfill their responsibilities.
- Organize and Administer Section Agenda as outlined by Professor.
- Supervise the Section in the daily routine.
- Instill a high level of morale and esprit-de-corps.
- Ensure communication throughout the section by means of meetings, bulletin boards, etc.
- Report to the Faculty as to the status of the Section.
- Attend meetings as directed by the Faculty.
- Maintain the highest standard of personal appearance, ethical behavior, diversity awareness.
- Set an example for all BUS 101 students to emulate.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work within a team to develop positive vision, direction, and results.
