1. What is the name of your organization?
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
2. What is the "mission statement" or purpose of your organization?
To create economic opportunities for individuals and organizations by implementing social outreach projects that empower people by teaching them about market economics, entrepreneurship, personal success skills, personal finance skills, environmental sustainability and business ethics.
3. Roughly how many members belong to your organization?
We have roughly 40 registered members.
4. What is the demographic makeup of your organization?

We have about 8 non business majors
b. Class?
We have 30% freshman, 25% sophomores, 25% juniors, and 20% seniors
5. When was your organization established at the University of Illinois?
2006
6. Please describe some of the major events/initiatives of your organization.
We teach students and local schools business skills through workshops and competitions, work with local organizations to create projects, and have recently expanded to help people in other countries.
7. Please describe the type of student you are interested in attracting.
Students interested in entrepreneurship, business, and community service and who are also willing to take initiative to complete projects
8. When does your Executive Board turn over?
The end of spring semester.
9. Who is the Faculty/Staff advisor for your organization?
We are currently looking for a new advisor.

It is open to any business student
12. Please list a "success story" of your organization.
This August, six SIFE students traveled to Dominican Republic to help about twenty people learn about how to start a community business. They had all the resources, but did not know how exactly to start a business successfully; we were able to teach them about such advanced topics as return on investment.
