The College of Business Office of Research currently operates twelve such centers.

Office of Accounting Research (OAR)

Office of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OBIE)

The Center draws upon faculty expertise from the College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.

Richard J. Arnould, Director, Professor Emeritus of Economics

PHEMP serves as an administrative unit that coordinates the development of interdisciplinary research, teaching, and service programs related to health economics and financing, health care management, policy, and evaluation. The goal of the program is to develop research agendas, identify faculty to teach courses in related subject matter, and promote the teaching and service programs which respond to the needs of the various constituencies involved in health care research and policy. PHEMP also serves as the coordinating unit of the Campus Health Initiative, a campuswide effort to develop and implement an interdisciplinary research and training agenda focusing on a broad array of issues related to health care.

Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER)
Joseph Cheng, Director

The purpose of CIBER is to promote the study of international business, foreign language, and culture within the college and in other units on campus, to provide international training for regional businesses operating internationally, and to foster research to improve the teaching and practice of international business.
