Mission Statement: The primary mission of the Bureau of Economic and Business Research (Office of Research) is to foster research by College of Business faculty and graduate students and to disseminate research results to a national and international audience.

In support of this mission, the office engages in a variety of activities, including production and distribution of faculty working papers, publication of research-related journals and newsletters, and development of media releases for business and economics publications.

The Office for Research coordinates and supports the activities of the college Research and Learning Centers by providing administrative services, financial support, and research assistance.

Research-Related Services to the Faculty

Summer RA Support
OOR offers a spring competition for ¼-time research assistants for the summer. Faculty members make applications and the Research Policy Committee selects the recipients.

Faculty Working Papers:
Working papers are made available on the OOR web site, http://www.business.uiuc.edu/Working_Papers/Main.asp, in PDF format. Email your PDF to Linda Kelley at lhuff@uiuc.edu, 270 Wohlers Hall, (217) 333-2331. The papers can be listed on the OOR web site and by request, at SSRN.

Reprints
