Office of Research
Providing services in aid of academic research, the Office of Research
fosters excellence in research among College of Business faculty
and graduate students, and it promotes the dissemination of research
results to a national and international audience.
Office for Banking Research (OBR)
OBR provides a forum for bankers, regulators, and academics to discuss
and analyze issues and problems facing banks today. OBR programs are
designed to help bankers meet new challenges in the industry and to
afford researchers the opportunity to study real-world banking problems.
Office of Organizational
Research (OOR)
OOR fosters research on effective organizational practices by
supporting doctoral and postdoctoral training in the organizational
sciences and by facilitating regular exchange between organizational
scholars on the UIUC campus as well as allied faculty and students
at other major universities.
Office of Real Estate Research (ORER)
ORER conducts and fosters research on problems related to real estate
in Illinois, its researchers communicate the results of applied research
to consumers and producers of real estate services, and they promote
the ongoing development of real estate education at UIUC and throughout
Illinois.
Center for International Education and Research in Accounting (CIERA)
CIERA serves the academic and professional communities by providing
world-class leadership and educational support in international accountancy
and business research. CIERA strives to provide innovative learning
experiences for faculty, students, and professionals in all aspects
of scholarship, including the creation, integration, dissemination,
and management of accounting knowledge in the international domain.
Center for International Business
Education & Research (CIBER)
The Illinois CIBER is a leader in advancing the study and teaching
of international business, in supporting research on global competitiveness,
and in designing and implementing programs with local, regional, and
national impact.
