Capital congratulations
Three interdisciplinary teams from the University of Illinois leave
for the Big Apple this weekend to compete in the Carrot Capital
Business Plan Challenge. Each team consisted of a business owner
or entrepreneur and several students who collaborated to develop
a business plan.

Simon
Symposium held
The Julian Simon Memorial Dedication Symposium held in late April
featured speakers from across the nation and a dedication ceremony
that honored Simon, a renowned economist. The dedication acknowledged
creation of the Julian Simon Memorial Faculty Scholar Endowment
that will support a junior faculty member in the college.

CEO visits college
