Johnson & Johnson Representative Awards Plaque to College

Isaac Mensah (right in photo at left), Controller of Marketing Finance for DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, presented a plaque to George Johnson, Director of Development for Corporate and Foundation Relations, at the Fall Career Fair in October.

The plaque lists the names of the University of Illinois case competition team members. Team members (clockwise from top left in photo at right) Megan Martin, Brian Russ, Heidi Koontz, Ken Park, Aaron Lorber, Thomas Finnegan (faculty advisor), Ying Wang, and Tami Swits competed in the competition in April in New Jersey.

For the competition, the students determined which product and which new, overseas market were most suitable for a fictional, multinational, over-the-counter pharmaceutical products company.

For winning the local competition and the right to represent the campus at the national competition, the students received a $1,000 check from Johnson & Johnson that was donated to the College of Business.
