For Subsistence Marketplaces Fall 06-Spring 07
Get Course Credit and Change the World!
This exciting new course is a joint initiative between the College of Business and the College of Engineering. This course is targeted toward second year MBAs and Masters Students in Engineering.
In this course you will develop Real World Business Skills in:
- Product development
- Marketing
- Cost accounting
- Project finance
- Engineering development
- Manufacturing development
You will have the opportunity to:
- Travel to INDIA to learn about
your market first hand
- Gain real world business experience in developing new products and services
- Interact extensively with corporations and leading faculty in engineering and business
- Learn how to segment, target, and position new products in subsistence marketplaces
- Learn how
to work effectively on cross-functional teams
You can get all this while benefiting the four billion people in
the world living in subsistence marketplaces!!
