We are proud to provide our MSF students with access to a Bloomberg terminal in our Business and Economics Library.
Training on the use of a Bloomberg terminal is often learned on the job, but to give our students an advantage; we provide them with training while on campus. Access to Bloomberg provides students with the opportunity to earn several Bloomberg Certifications prior to graduation from the MSF program through Bloomberg's online certification program. The following certifications can be earned:
Obtaining any of these certifications is a time commitment as the student must view a series of instructional videos on the Bloomberg terminal and then pass each of the tests associated with the video. Completing these certificates is a time consuming process - in fact completing all three certifications will take a minimum of 32 hours at the Bloomberg terminal. But don't let this deter you, in an increasingly competitive market, a Bloomberg Certification will provide a valuable head start.
