Saturday, May 17th

The final grades are now available (Section AE4; Section AE8).  Sorry for taking so long, but because of the large subjective components in the course grades still to be determined (final exam and class participation), I spent extra time making sure that the grades are correct.  While some people did a very good job on the final exam, overall the scores were not as high as I was expecting.  A number of you spent too much time on peripheral issues instead of focusing on more important items.  As far as class participation goes, I would definitely like to have seen more participation throughout the semester and the scores for that component reflected that.  If you have any questions about your grades, I would be happy to meet with you at the beginning of the fall semester to discuss them, but be aware that I would have had to make a large math mistake in order to make any grade changes, and I triple-checked all calculations before I turned in grades.  I hope you all have a great summer!
