Overview - Illini Book Exchange

Illini Book Exchange was started in Fall 2002 as a way for students to save money. The idea behind it is quite simple: students post used (or new) books they are hoping to sell, along with an asking price, for others to browse. What makes this site unique is that it is custom-tailored to the UIUC community, is completely free, and created entirely by students. The website interface allows searching, sorting and updating of listings, as well as a convenient and secure way to contact sellers, without the danger of unsolicited email.
