***IMPORTANT!***
3 REASONS WHY YOU MAY NOT BE SELECTED
OBJECTIVE ON YOUR RESUME
Several companies have indicated that the objective statements are not aligned with the posted position. This is a detail that is very important to recruiters and several of you have been disqualified for internships & jobs for not paying attention to details. You can upload up to ten different resumes on Symplicity and choose the best one for each company.
PRE-NIGHT ACTIVITIES
RSVP to every recruiting function. A large employer recently indicated that 20% of interviewees did not attend the pre-night event. If you are unable to attend a pre-night, it is your responsibility to communicate with the recruiter informing them of your time conflict.
CLOSE THE DEAL This semester BCS is hearing consistent feedback from recruiters indicating that interviewees are not stating their interest for the position/company during the interview. A solution to this is to tell the interviewer you want the job!
