We welcome your interest in the P.D. program in Business Administration. We offer in-depth education in teaching and research in selected area of business and administration as a gateway to an academic career. Doctoral students can specialize in the areas of information systems, international business, management science, marketing, organizational behavior, process management, and strategic management, as well as undertake exciting interdisciplinary programs. The program is intensive, flexible and adaptable to individual needs.
Our faculty actively contribute to knowledge in their areas of inquiry and have achieved national and international renown. Faculty members work closely with doctoral students to guide their research and prepare them for their careers. We have confidence in the abilities of our students and strive to provide an environment that is both challenging and supportive. Throughout the program, we work to provide them with the skills needed to excel in an academic career. In partnership with the faculty, each doctoral student's program entails sufficient study and preparation to achieve competence in research methods, in-depth expertise in their elected areas of concentration, expertise in at least one area in addition to the major area, selected from within or outside the department, competence in conducting independent research, and competence in teaching.
