Strategy & Entrepreneurship
Strategic management seeks to explain variations in organizational performance that arise from differing strategies, organizational designs, and environmental conditions. Thus, we conduct research and teach courses that involve multiple levels of the organization including top management teams, structure of the firm, and the evolution of industries.
Faculty members in this area bring diverse perspectives from a number of disciplines including management and economics. They utilize a variety of tools, models, and methodologies to understand how firms are established, how they grow, and how they change.
