Teaching and Research Interests
- I am currently interested in how power and status affects consumer behavior. Using a recent Horizontal-Vertical cultural framework suggested by Triandis and colleagues (1998), I seek to understand how power motives and status differentiation differ among consumers with different cultural orientations, and how this consequently impacts their behavior in services and retail settings.
