This workshop was delivered by Prof. Scott Weisbenner, associate professor of finance at ILLINOIS, who shares his experience as a renowned researcher in behavioral economics and teacher of corporate finance. Cited for his expertise in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Barron’s, and Smart Money, Professor Weisbenner is a former economist for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and is a research fellow at the National Bureau of Research.

Tessie Johnson is a Director in the Global Capital Markets practice of Transaction Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has extensive experience working on cross-border transactions and as a result has a deep knowledge of SEC rules and regulations as well as International Financial and Reporting Standards. As a conversion expert, Ms. Johnson understands the pitfalls companies face when they seek to raise debt or equity on the U.S. exchanges as a foreign private issuer.
