The Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership is proud of its long-standing partnership with the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). The WUN supports innovation in research, and education on an international scale, through interdisciplinary collaboration, faculty and student exchanges, eLearning, and student organization partnerships.

The Academy has organized and served on the steering committees of three international WUN Enterprise conferences, held in Chicago, Leeds, and China. We recognize the importance of building strong international connections to foster trans-national projects, research, and opportunities for spreading entrepreneurial practices. Tony Mendes and Kim Sugden from the Academy have also helped found the WUN Enterprise initiative, along with colleagues from Leeds and Zhejiang, to continue the global reach of entrepreneurial WUN events and outcomes.

The University of Illinois is one of the founding members of the WUN and is proud to showcase the work of several colleges and faculty on campus that have developed global WUN projects, as well as brilliant students whose research projects exemplify trans-national collaboration and creative thinking.
